A free display of paramotors and microlights takes place at the weekend, from sunrise to sunset on both Saturday and Sunday, to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The Paramotors Fly In event will be at Brooklands Farm, just outside the village of Alconbury off the A1. The police helicopter and an air ambulance should also be on display, as well as trade stands. The event is free but donations are requested.
The money will be used to help an appeal to buy a new air ambulance to cover Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. The aircraft would be based at RAF Wyton but would double the operating costs of the charity, taking it to £250,000 per month.
