TWO motorists have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash between a lorry and a digger on the A14 at Spaldwick.
Police were called at 10.15am on Wednesday (April 22) to reports of a collision on the eastbound carriageway opposite the Shell garage at Spaldwick.
A police spokesman said both drivers had suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and had been taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon.
Both lanes of the eastbound carriageway were closed at the Spladwick slip road while recovery of the vehicles took place.

Lane two was reopened at noon but lane one was still closed at 1.20pm.
