THE 10-acre Nightowl Truckstop in Alconbury will close at the end of the month.
The site, which provides parking for 200 lorries, as well as shower facilities, food and fuel, is to be redeveloped by its owners Wrenbridge Land Ltd.
On the Nightowl Truckstop website it states that the "facilities will be withdrawn in a phased manner" with parking facilities and fuel sales remaining open until its closure on August 31. It also states that the site "will be redeveloped for alternative use."
A company spokesman for Wrenbridge Land Ltd told The Hunts Post it was "still evaluating their options for the site".
It is believed 30 people will lose their jobs when the site closes.
