HINCHINGBROOKE School pupil Lauren Manlow was last week unveiled as one of the top art and design students in the country.
The 16-year-old was awarded top marks in her art and design GCSE by Edexcel, placing her in the top 10 in the country at that level.
Lauren, from Offord Cluny, sat the exam this summer at Hinchingbrooke School in Huntingdon. The results show that out of 553 candidates, the teenager achieved one of the highest overall marks.
Jerry Jarvis, Edexcel's managing director, said: "This is a tremendous achievement and the testament to the hard work students put into preparing for their examinations. We send our congratulations to Lauren.
