AN immigration raid on an Indian restaurant in Sawtry has led to three men being arrested.

The night-time raid at Spice Land in Old Great North Road was a joint operation between Cambridgeshire police and officers from the UK Border Agency.

A 17-year-old, a 33-year-old and a 28-year-old were all arrested on Tuesday (February 3) at 7.45pm on suspicion of overstaying their allowed time in the UK.

All three men are believed to have been working at the restaurant when they were arrested.
