AT a time when the NHS seems to suffer so much criticism, I would like to take this opportunity of publicly thanking and congratulating the NHS in general and the professional and caring staff of East Anglian Ambulance, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Addenbrooke’s Hospital in particular for the speed of response, excellent treatment and nursing care my wife received during her recent medical emergency.
We were constantly updated with information and always treated with friendliness, respect and dignity. The skill of these dedicated people has ensured that 15 days after a major operation, she is now at home anticipating a full recovery.
