A TEENAGER was attacked in St Ives, after asking those harassing him to leave him alone.
The 18-year-old was walking home from work just after midnight on Sunday, April 30, when he was approached by a group of men and women, close to the Total garage on London Road.
Two of the men started abusing and harassing the victim, who walked on and asked them to leave him alone. However, they kept following the teenager and one of the men punched him in the face, causing his nose to bleed.
The first man was described as white, 6ft tall, slim, with dark hair. He is thought to have a South African accent and wore a light T-shirt and jeans.
The second was described as white, 5ft 10in, with short brown hair and was wearing jeans, a T-shirt and a black jacket.
Police are appealing for any information relating to the incident.
