ONE of the latest NHS initiatives asks us to "Improve the Patient Experience". With this in mind, we made some improvements to our waiting room.

As part of this work, we purchased two new toilet seats and fitted them in our patient bathrooms. One of the toilet seats was stolen from the surgery last Friday.

I hope you will pardon the pun, but I see this as more than just an "inconvenience" to our patients on Monday morning. That anyone could steal the toilet seat from their local doctor's surgery seems absurd.

I know that the residents of Warboys will be as astonished and dismayed as I am.
