IT is great that the young music scene seems to be thriving in Cambridgeshire but it is a pity the visual arts receive so little attention, if any.
The current art exhibition at the Victoria Inn at Ouse Walk, Huntingdon, is a good example of this lack of attention despite the fact that the exhibition includes paintings by artists and illustrators with an international reputation.
There are examples of all types of paintings and some very fine examples of life drawing with various female nudes on display There are however, no male nude paintings for the delectation of female viewers which is a pity!
Many thanks to landlord Tony Ogle for supporting the arts in this way.
