THE skies over Huntingdon turned purple last week and an on-the-ball resident was on hand to capture the moment.
Mike Cochrane, of Burrows Drive, Huntingdon, snapped the image with his digital camera as a storm raged overhead last Wednesday.
Mike said: "Lightning photography is actually a bit of a hobby of mine and I have a library of lightning photographs.
"I was fortunate that this one came directly to me. It's a risky hobby but it can bring some great results."
