THE NHS is urging people to make a New Year's resolution to give blood in January at various sessions in Huntingdonshire.
Every day, the NHS needs 8,000 pints of blood to be donated. Those eligible to take part must be 17-59, weigh over 7st and be in good health. Regular donors can give blood up to three times a year and can continue giving until the age of 70.
INFORMATION: Blood donor sessions will be held at:
Huntingdon at the Commemoration Hall, High Street today (January 10), 1-3.30pm and 4.30-7pm, and January 24, 10.30am-12.30pm and 2-4.30pm.
St Ives at the Meadow Suite in the Dolphin Hotel, January 15 and January 22, both dates from
1-3.30pm and 4.30-7pm.
St Neots in the Methodist Church, 10 Berkely Street, on January 19, from 1- 3.30pm and 4.30-7pm and The Priory Centre, Priory Lane, on January 31, 10am-12.30pm and 2-5pm
Warboys at the Parish Centre in the High Street, on January 12, from 1-3.30pm and 5-7pm.
