IT is criminal that some of our Hinchingbrooke Hospital staff might be axed when the trust has just built a new entrance hall and foyer.

Whatever was wrong with the old one and, instead of this, how many nurses would this accommodate?

Inside the foyer, looking more like a cinema, the chairs only ever have a few people occupying them.

As a taxpaying working family, my husband and I were not given a choice of a new million-pound entrance or some hard-working trained nurses.

I know which I would have picked.
