A TEENAGER from St Neots has appeared in court in connection with the death of a time trial cyclist who died on the A1 earlier this year.
Katie Hart, 19, of Lakefield Avenue, Little Paxton appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates Court on Thursday (August 20) to face a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.
Major Gareth Rhys-Evans, 37, died on May 3 following a collision with a car near St Neots during the Icknield 25-mile time trial.
The married father-of-two, who lived on a military base in Germany, was pronounced dead at the scene and the time trail was abandoned.
Hart is due to appear at Peterborough Crown Court on Thursday, August 27.
