I WOULD certainly support the buses being routed through Crown St once again. It would halve the bus traffic in North Road, which is a residential road so narrow in part, that two buses cannot pass each other and the footpaths are only two feet wide (less
I WOULD certainly support the buses being routed through Crown St once again. It would halve the bus traffic in North Road, which is a residential road so narrow in part, that two buses cannot pass each other and the footpaths are only two feet wide (less when the buses mount them).
The passing buses shake the houses to their foundations, like a mini-earthquake.
The Broadway, Crown Street and Market Hill are much more suitable for such heavy and noisy transport. Why not on Mondays? They always used to.
