COURT COFFEE: Residents from Langley Court in St Ives have raised 160 for the medical charity Magpas by holding coffee mornings and a table top sale.
Debbie Florence, who collected a cheque on behalf of the Wyton-based charity, said “We are very grateful to all the residents of Langley Court for the fantastic donation of 160.
“It was a real pleasure to meet them all and talk about the services Magpas provides. As we rely solely reliant on donations, every penny that they raised will help us saves lives locally and in the East of England night and day.”
Magpas’ Helimedix team used the Cambridgeshire police helicopter to send medical teams to the scene of accidents and emergencies across the region.
