A HAUL of jewellery including three engagement rings was stolen from a house in St Ives.
The burglary took place on Monday (July 27) between 12.15pm and 1.30pm in Houghton Road.
Intruders broke in through a conservatory door before searching the premises and making off with three diamond engagement rings, a gold sovereign, a number of gold chains, one bearing a gold cross, a pearl necklace and a digital camera.
It is not known how much the engagement rings are worth but they are of great sentimental value to the victim who is in her 70s.
DC Karaline Cox, who is investigating, said: "I am appealing for anyone with information about this burglary to come forward. I would particularly like to hear from anyone who has been offered goods like those described for sale."
INFORMATION: Anyone with information should contact DC Cox, at Ramsey Police Station, on 0345 456 456 4, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
