St Ives firm scanning memories for future generations
Sharing old memories and photos with friends and family has opened up a new venture for a document scanning company.
The IPC Group, based in Edison Road, St Ives, are now offering a service to those who want to preserve precious memories including diaries, greeting cards and certificates for future generations.
Graham Light, director of IPC said: “At the wake after my mother’s funeral we displayed a number of photographs and many family members commented that they had never seen some of them and asked if I could scan and send copies to them.
“This led to the realisation that there was a market for a professional service which could cope with any size or type of material which would be difficult for people to do at home.”
The company will scan the treasured records no matter the size or material and deliver the images on CD, DVD or a memory stick to send all over the world and keep forever.
