CAN somebody tell me why I should be classified as an ex-smoker?
At a party in spring 1949 I was talked into trying a Woodbine cigarette. After a few puffs, a lot of coughing and eyes watering, I decided smoking was not for me. That was my first and last cigarette - 58 years ago.
I recently told a medic this story and now my medical records show me as an "ex-smoker".
I had a few drinks at this party as well. Should my records also log me as being an "ex-alcoholic"?
Has everyone gone mad?
