A LORRY has shed its load on junction 23 of the A14 at Spittals, partially blocking traffic in both directions.
Police were called to the incident at around 1.40pm today (July 1) where a lorry had spilt breeze blocks on the roundabout at the junction.
The Highways Agency was still clearing the blocks from the road at 5.30pm with lane closures in both directions causing some delays as far back as junction 28.
All the closures are partial and the HA said the lorry will be able to move once the load has been cleared.
