The crash took place just after 4pm on Wednesday (January 27) close to Caxton Gibbet and led to the closure of the road in both directions at the Caxton roundabout.
Diversions have been set up along the B1040 and police are urging motorists to avoid the area.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said the air ambulance and fire service have been called to the scene and "at least one person is thought to have been seriously injured".
