THIS year, which marks 100 years of scouting, will see the 21st World Jamboree in the UK in July, which will be attended by 36 scouts in Huntingdonshire.
Currently, 44,000 young people from across the world have confirmed they are coming, more young people from more countries than the Olympic Games.
May sees the movement's National Camping Weekend on May 26 with one of the camps at Huntingdon Racecourse.
On August 1 at 8am scouts and former scouts will meet in large and small gatherings around the world to renew their Promise in the second century of Scouting. To commemorate the moment for the world, the same kidu horn that Baden Powell blew on that very first morning will once again be blown at 8am on Brownsea Island.
