PHOTOGRAPHS of the St Ives Sea Scouts going back 50 years were on display at the scouts headquarters on Holt Island on Sunday.
A thanksgiving service for the scouts' golden jubilee was held at All Saints Parish Church and attended by The Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Hugh Duberly as well as the county scout commissioner, Richard Hames, district commissioner, Tony Best and the Deputy Mayor of St Ives, Councillor Dick Foreway.
Included in the exhibition was a copy of The Hunts Post from April 13, 1961 with a report of when the Duke of Gloucester visited the Sea Scouts.
