FATHER CHRISTMAS on the Rotary Club of Ramsey's Christmas carol float will be raising cash for good causes again this year. The float has been out on the festive beat each year for more than 30 years.

The float will be in Warboys and Wistow today (Wednesday) and in Upwood Village and Farm Close, tomorrow (Thursday).

On Friday it will be in Upwood at Fairmead Park and in Bury at Upwood Road, Grove Way Redebourne Lane, Bury Close, Lion Walk, Brands Close.

On Monday, December 10, the float will be in Bury in Grenfell Road, Owls End and Ringwood Close, Pound Close, Buryfields, Greenwood, Close, Hill Estate, Meadow Lane and the High Street.

On Tuesday, the float will be in Ramsey in Bury Road, Biggin Lane, The Maltings, Pathfinder Way and Taverners Drive.

On Wednesday, December 12, it will return to Ramsey, this time to Fairfields, Park Road, Fellowes Drive, The Avenue and Blenheim Road. On Thursday, December 13, the float will be in Ramsey in Station Road, Slade Close, Field Road, Star Lane, Princes Street, Westfield and Whytefield Road. On Friday, December 14, it will be in Ramsey at Great Whyte, Mill Lane, Turvers Lane, Newtown Road, New Road and Church Green. On Saturday, December 15 it will be in The Great Whyte, Ramsey in the morning. On Monday, December 17, the float will be in Ramsey in Little Whyte, Hollow Lane, Wood Lane, Oates Way, Lawrence Road, Abbots Close and Abbey Fields.

On Tuesday, December 18, the float will be in Holme, on Wednesday, December 19, in Ramsey Forty Foot, and on Thursday, December 20, in Ramsey St Mary's and Ramsey Heights.

INFORMATION: On all the weekdays, the float will be out between 6pm and 8pm.

* IN HUNTINGDON, Father Christmas can be seen as the guest of the Rotary Club of Huntingdon in Stukeley Meadows on December 12 and 13 between 5pm and 8pm. He will also be outside Tesco in Huntingdon on December 19 and 21 from 3pm to 6pm. He will be helping to raise money for local children and good causes.
