A woman killed in a road accident is to be remembered by her friends and family during a charity fun run next month.
Sam Bull, 20, of Pepys Road, St Neots, died following the incident involving two cars in Berkley Street, St Neots, on December 31, 2005.
The fun run in her memory has been organised to take place on what would have been Sam's 22nd birthday, September 1.
Family friend Sam Williams has helped Sam's sister Emma Sargent to organise the event at Grafham Water.
She said: "We wanted to do something constructive, partly to keep Sam's memory alive and partly as it is hard for a family to lose a member so young.
"We felt we should do something good for the community. We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for Sam's dedicated charity."
At the time of Sam's death her parents, Danny and Tracy Bull, told The Hunts Post: "We cannot believe how someone so special can be taken from us so quickly. We will miss her strength, her laughter and her love of life."
Her fiance Mark Brownlow, said: "Sam thought of everyone before herself. If she could do something for someone she would.
"Sam gave so much to the people she met. She was a wonderful person."
The fun run will start at 1pm on September 1. Money raised will go to the Gastroenteritis Trust Fund Nurses at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in Huntingdon. Sam had suffered from the digestive disease, colitis.
Mrs Bull said: "The family wanted to do something uplifting to mark Sam's birthday to keep her memory alive and to raise money for charity."
