THE latest design for a block of flats on the former site of Huntingdonshire District Council's headquarters has again met with disapproval.
Huntingdon Town Council's planning application panel recommended refusal of the design, which is a second attempt by HDC to appease residents of St Mary's Street, who feel the flats will impose on them.
Cllr Tom Sanderson said the panel still felt the buildings would be too high and out of character with the street's other houses.
The proposal for 14 flats will ultimately be decided by HDC planners in April or May.
