Road users are advised of overnight carriageway closures on the A1 at Black Cat roundabout next Monday (September 22).
The A1 northbound between Tempsford Road, Blunham and the Black Cat roundabout will be closed overnight on Monday for five nights from 8pm until 5am.
Following completion, the A1 southbound between the A428 and Tempsford Road will be closed from Saturday (September 27) for two nights during the same hours.
The Highways Agency has advised road users to plan their journey and diversion signs will navigate alternative routes via Barford Road and A428.
Roadworks on the A1 are part of the Government’s £317 million pinch point programme, which aims to reduce congestion and delays at key locations.
