REVIEW: TRACKS OF BOB @THE GEORGE, FENSTANTON -
MONDAY SEPTEMBER 4 (NEXT DATE SEPTEMBER 20)
THANKS to everyone who came to watch and play at the Tracks of Bob acoustic night at The George in Fenstanton last week. Our risky plan of not co-ordinating which tracks we would each play paid off nicely on the night.
I had been worried that we'd treat the crowd to numerous slightly differing versions of Blowin' In The Wind, but instead we heard a range of classics including I Want You, I Shall Be Released, Tangled Up In Blue, Not Dark Yet and The Mighty Quinn - to name only a few. The night is set to be repeated at CB2 in Norfolk Street in Cambridge on Wednesday September 20. Full details at www.alighting.co.uk CHRIS BOLAND
