IT'S not hard to see why the fortnightly Eclectic Nights at the Kudos Bar within Anglia Ruskin University are so popular.
With theatre, music and random oddities all sharing the bill, free entry and student bar prices, the event -also open to the general public, has also been responsible for showcasing some of the finest local bands. Last Tuesday, Huntingdonshire favourites Emerald Sky offered a sublime set of original material. By the end of their set there was little doubt the trio had won themselves some new admirers. Catchy and punchy, with a confident nod towards classic rock, much praise has been heaped on Emerald Sky and judging by their ARU performance, its praise that is easily justified.
