CAMBRIDGESHIRE Fire and Rescue Service was called to 180 incidents over the Christmas period.
They included firefighters rescuing a deer trapped in a fence in Huntingdon Road, Brampton.
The 180 incidents were recorded between Friday, December 22, and Wednesday, December 27.
About nine of these were house fires and included an unattended chip pan blaze where a man suffered smoke inhalation and burns, plus a chimney fire.
Crews were also called out to 30 road traffic collisions where they were needed to extinguish car fires and to help rescue motorists.
They also attended more than 15 car and lorry fires.
