A COURT case against a man who stabbed a 28-year-old at a skate park in Huntingdon has been adjourned for psychiatric reports. Luke Bruce, 21, from Wolff Close, Sapley, had pleaded guilty to the offence on March 5 and was due to be sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court on Monday. He was arrested on December 12 at the skate park near Sapley Square, Huntingdon. The victim, Grant Barham, from Huntingdon, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with injuries described at the time as life-threatening. After stabbing Mr Barham, Bruce was said to have kicked his victim in the head, stamped on his head and repeatedly punched him as he lay on the ground. He was also charged with assaulting a police officer and an unrelated charge of burglary of items worth £3,765. Bruce is now due to be sentenced on May 21.
