WHILE fully supporting the sentiments behind the illegally-placed signs ("Warren Hay Action Group: roadside rebels", August 1) I feel that they are incorrectly placed and too close to the junction to be effective.
If the action group wished to fund some type of signage, why did it not produce a design that was more like an authentic road sign and not the obviously illegal and rather home-made, potentially dangerous signs that have been erected.
Cambridgeshire County Council must not delay in removing these signs and replacing them with something more professional and correctly located before there is another tragic accident at the scene.
