FIVE mornings a week, I am unfortunate enough to have to cycle up West End and past Brampton School. Most of the car drivers on the school run appear to have no thought for people on bicycles.
Twice one recent morning I was almost knocked off my bike by people who could not wait one minute while I got by.
I had to actually stop in order to let a woman in a 4x4 squeeze past on my side of the road to overtake a parked car, rather than wait her turn. She didn't even look at me, which must have been difficult, as she was only about one inch away from me as she passed.
Please, drivers, try to be patient and a little more considerate with cyclists.
