I WAS delighted to see letters from the public (February 13) protesting at the closure of the Low Road, Fenstanton, for approximately four months.
While most of us in the village accept that the work is inevitable, the present economic climate is making trading very hard for small businesses without these additional problems.
For drivers who don't want to access the village via the A14, I would like to suggest that using the B1040 and the road though Hilton to Fenstanton will add only a few minutes to their journey and, if anyone prefers to use a Whippet coach, I will happily refund the bus fare to any of my customers.
