Some 40 children in Year 2 at Eastfield School, St Ives, started recorder lessons last term. The classes are held on Fridays, and the children are taught in groups of 10. The children are preparing pieces for a summer concert. The teachers are Felicity Horseman and Gillian Atherton, who also run the Chamber Orchestra of St Ives.
