Healthy eating has won a five-year-old school pupil a Sony PSP games console and games worth £250.
The gift was offered in a prize draw over three weeks to encourage pupils at Middlefield School in Eynesbury to eat school meals instead of taking packed lunches, and was won by Kyran.
All the meals at the school are homemade on the premises by the school caterer Gloria May, and the school says its menu is already healthier and better balanced than those about to be stipulated in Government guidelines from September.
Mrs May cooks fresh bread for the school each day as well as preparing vegetarian dishes, salads and other healthy options.
Mrs May is pictured with Josh, Jack, Shannon, Erin, Callum and Kyran (front).
