Ramsey: Youths sought for arson

DESCRIPTIONS of two youths wanted in connection with the fire at Ramsey Rural Museum have been released by the police. Officers are treating as arson the burning down of two marquees containing books at the museum, in Wood Lane, at about 9.20pm on Sunday

DESCRIPTIONS of two youths wanted in connection with the fire at Ramsey Rural Museum have been released by the police.

Officers are treating as arson the burning down of two marquees containing books at the museum, in Wood Lane, at about 9.20pm on Sunday, April 26.

The marquees had been set up in preparation for a book sale. The fire caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage, each marquee being valued at �500.

The youths, who were seen in the area at the time, were described as white, about 15, slim and about 5'8". Both were wearing dark tops and dark trousers, possibly tracksuit bottoms.

One had fair skin and short brown spiky hair. The other was wearing a hooded top or cap.
