THE first free 'Fun and Learning Day' proved popular in Ramsey on Saturday. More than 40 people asked about learning opportunities within the community.
Adults in Ramsey can now get free help with employability skills, gain a free NVQ, join workshops and gain qualifications in maths and English.
There are also free business start-up courses for people who want to become self-employed.
Other free workshops include how to compile a CV and prepare for work, first aid, internet and parenting skills, basic food hygiene, digital photography and creative writing.
The open day on Saturday was at the Great Whyte Baptist Church.
