POLICE received more than 200 calls from concerned residents in the early hours of Wednesday morning after an earth tremor.
The earthquake, which measured 5.3 on the Richter scale at its epicentre, occurred just before 1am near Market Rasen in Lincolnshire.
More than 40 people from across Cambridgeshire called 999, and 196 others called the non-emergency number between 1am and 1.30am. A police spokesperson said officers did not need to attend any incidents.
