CAMBRIDGESHIRE residents are being invited to have their say on a new guide to improve community involvement in planning.
Residents are being invited to look at the revised Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) document that incorporates the views put forward by people in the consultations last November and December.
Everyone is welcome to attend an exhibition of the SCI proposals at Huntingdon Library, Princes Street, Huntingdon from Tuesday to next Friday (April 21). The proposals will also be on viewed at Shire Hall in Cambridge or libraries across the region.
Mark Vigor, head of strategic planning at the county council said: "With so much development it is vital local people have an opportunity to help shape plans which will affect their communities in future years."
People have until May 12 to inspect the SCI proposals and either object or support them. These views will be passed to the Secretary of State who will make a final decision on any improvements.
