PICTURES painted by Cambridgeshire youngsters depicting the \u00A330million redevelopment work in Huntingdon are now on display to the public. Pupils from schools across the region were invited to draw or paint pictures that reflect the work being carried out on the town centre with cash prizes for the winning children and their schools. Five winners have now been chosen and their pictures will be enlarged and put on display around the Clegg construction site in George Street. First places went to Anthony Davies, from Hinchingbrooke School, Sam Shepherd from St Peter's School, and Samina Mahmood from Spring Common School. Second prizes were awarded to Arnie Jaffe, from St Peter's School, and Ricky Byatt from Spring Common School. Some of the paintings can also be viewed at Huntingdon Library until the end of the month when the display will move to the town's Commemoration Hall. Huntingdon town centre manager, Emma Thornton, said: "This has been a wonderful opportunity for our young people to learn more about this exciting development in their town and to get actively involved.
