THE proposed Cotton Wind Farm is far too close to six villages, with the nearest properties just over half a kilometre away. We should follow the lead of Scotland of at the least two kilometres to the nearest villages.
The site is ill-chosen for wind generation. It should be sited at sea, with the height of these wind turbines. They will cause considerable noise, distress, discomfort and illness, including strobe affect on many people both young and old in the surrounding six villages.
I am against the plans for this intrusion by a large company, npower, trying to upset the lives of many people purely for profit with little regard for our carbon footprint.
