A PRE-SCHOOL has been praised for the quality of its care and education by Ofsted.
The Piglets Pre-school at Great Staughton was praised for its organisation and safety standards, while children were described as happy, secure and settled.
The report states that the nursery is equipped to handle children with physical or learning disabilities and those for whom English is an additional language.
Piglets was praised for taking on board suggestions from its previous inspection, including improving its nappy-changing facilities.
Headteacher Gill Broome said: "When we began to get so many children from out of our catchment area we realised that our good name had spread.
"I am very pleased that our hard work has been recognised by Ofsted."
