I RECENTLY delivered one of my sons to Huntingdon railway station, where on arrival I needed to use the toilet, which are past the barriers.
I asked the staff for the use of a loo (water tablets working overtime) and, much to my surprise, I was allowed through past the entry barriers, showed where the toilets were by a friendly lady who for some unusual reason thought I might be a football supporter - at my time of life!
What wonderful staff to show such consideration - chap just opened the barriers, allowed me through and then was ready to let me back out, all this with a smile, a kind word. Never been on a train in my life but with this treatment it could be that a change is needed.
Well done the staff at Huntingdon station, and thank you all most kindly.
