James, pictured, had been driving along Ermine Street when he saw the accident. He pulled over his van, got out his work bench and covered it with his coat to make a seat for the womn, who was suffering with a nose bleed, and while an ambulance was called waited with the woman until the paramedics arrived. The woman, who suffered bad bruising, was extremely grateful for James quick-thinking and assistance and passed on her thanks to him, a Luminus spokesman said. Chan Abraham, Luminus Group chief executive added: Luminus is number one in the UK for having the most helpful colleagues (according to The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For) and this shows that this also extends out to helping the wider community. James is an extremely valuable member of our trades team and his great attitude, clear focus and perseverance demonstrate that he is committed to our 2020 Vision: The Road to Renewal by helping to change the world where we are.
