I URGE councillors to vote against the plan to demolish Huntingdon library, which is well used and ideally located. It is an award-winning building, possibly the best building of its era in Huntingdon.
According to the national press, we have had the third highest Council Tax increase in the whole country but, despite paying more, we may lose or have lost: Huntingdon tourist office, access to the High Street from St Germain Street, green spaces at Oxmoor, children's playing fields and our excellent library.
