A MEETING to discuss the Government's proposed post office closures is being held at The George Hotel, in Ramsey High Street on Monday, February 25. The meeting has been called by the UK Independence Party. Speakers include David Campbell Bannerman, deputy leader of UKIP, a nephew of the former Liberal Prime Minister, Henry Campbell-Bannerman who died in 1908. The Hunts Post has been running a 'use it or lose it' campaign to protect local post offices. A petition can be signed on www.huntspost24.co.uk or at the meeting. INFORMATION: Meeting starts 8pm.
