WHY do we in St Ives have to suffer this total lack of co-ordination of traffic schemes?
Low Road is shut. That is bound to increase traffic on London Road in and out of the town.
Some genius then erects roadworks controlled by lights on London Road. Were they urgent? I doubt it.
Traffic backs up right to the A14, coming in and on to the bridge over the river going out of town when I used it.
This has happened several times before, with on occasions the town coming to a complete standstill. Is it too much to expect that the council gets its act together?
