IT is vital that we have a pool ("Outdoor pool in two years," November 21) as we are surrounded by water and all children should be good swimmers because of this.
We are repeatedly told that children are not getting enough exercise, yet the one sport most children love is the one they have been deprived of by shutting the pool that we had. We need more facilities.
No wonder we have problems in the town.
Where can the youths go? It seems there is more interest in building houses and yet more houses than worrying about our infrastructure.
