OFFICERS are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a man who went missing from the St Neots area early on Friday morning (June 26).
Fifty-year-old Nicholas Pearce left a property on the A428 Cambridge Road, Eynesbury, at about 6.30am.
He is white, 5ft tall with long brown and white hair and a grey beard and was wearing black jeans and a grey t-shirt.
Police are concerned for his health and fear he is heading on foot to Stevenage.
PC Neil English, investigating, said: "We are eager to trace Nicholas, as he was not dressed for wet weather and we believe he may be walking across fields to get to Stevenage. I would ask anyone who spots a man matching this description and heading south from St Neots to get in touch as soon as possible."
INFORMATION: Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Neil English at St Neots Police Station on 0345 4564564 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
