ST Ives rock band Plus Guest are back, complete with a new line-up. After performing at last year's Cambridge Band Competition, members of the band worked on other projects. However, singer/guitarist Gavin Bates and lead guitarist Glenn Brown have been working hard behind the scenes alongside new drummer Luke Townsend and bassist Charlie Howell.
Finally, after much rehearsal and time spent to build their impressive Myspace online following, the loud, energetic rock band, who have been compared to The Manic Street Preachers, Muse and Feeder, are ready to hit the live scene.
If you like your music with a big sound and with an even bigger attitude, you're advised to catch Plus Guest on stage. Forthcoming gigs are: The Golden Lion Hotel St Ives May 20, The Loft - Cambridge June 2, The Loft - Cambridge June 10, Cellar Bar 8 - Cambridge July ) and The Portland Arms - Cambridge July 21.
